Week 8 District 20 4A Insider

We are past the halfway point in the season and going down hill. Our insiders cover all districts, and not just some of them. We still project all the playoff match-ups, look at the major doings in the bi-district race, analyze and predict each game this week, look ahead at next week and last week and look at the A to Z district rankings. No other site can do that!

**20-4A**

Lumberton (5-1) (3-1)

Beaumont Central (4-2) (3-1)

Livingston (3-2) (3-1)

Nederland (3-2) (3-1)

Vidor (4-2) (2-2)

Port Neches-Groves (3-3) (1-3)

Beaumont Ozen (1-5) (1-3)

Little Cypress-Mauriceville (0-5) (0-4)

Beaumont Central at Beaumont Ozen

Beaumont Bowl Series continues here with the Ozen Panthers playoff chances looking slim coming in at 1-3 in District. Central comes in at 3-1 with a big win over Nederland last week. Big rivalry here but i'm going with Central in this one due to a better Defense.

Central 28 Ozen 17

Vidor at Little Cypress-Mauriceville

As i posted before the season started i thought Vidor would be the surprise team and that they are. They picked up a huge win last week over Port Neches-Groves. Vidor comes in at 2-2 in District and should be 3-2 after this week.

Vidor 35 LC-M 14

Livingston at Nederland

Huge game here!! Both teams come in at 3-1 in District and the loser of this game may not make the postseason. Livingston has really stepped it up the last few weeks with big wins over LC-M and PN-G. The game is at Nederland and i'll take the Dogs in a close one.

Nederland 27 Livingston 21

Lumberton at Port Neches-Groves

Lumberton comes in at 3-1 and look to be the only team that will probably make the Playoffs as of this writing. Of course the Playoff picture will become more clear after this week. PN-G has been a big disappointment with their Defense giving up big Numbers the last few weeks. RB Jacob Hanna has been a beast so far. Look for Lumberton to win this contest this Friday at PN-G.

Lumberton 30 PN-G 20
