The Friendswood Mustangs are coming off last weeks impressive 61-28 win over Dawson. The Mustang's potent passing offense continued it's run last week, as Jacob Karam threw for 353 passing yards and 4 touchdowns. The Mustangs boast 3 of the top 5 receivers, in terms of yardage, in the district.
The Manvel Mavericks are riding a two game winning streak coming in to this weeks match-up. Sophomore quarterback Dexter Foreman has shown signs of promise with 864 passing yards and nine touchdowns, but also shown signs of youth with eight interceptions. He will continue to get better as will the Mavericks.

Angleton @ Texas City
The Angleton Wildcats rebounded nicely last week with a 54-37 win over Brazosport. The Wildcats are tied with Friendswood in the standings right now, and hold the tie breaker over them after beating them in week 6. This weeks match-up will most likely be Angletons toughest remaining opponent as they will finish out with Santa Fe and Manvel.
The Texas City Stingarees are coming off a huge win over La Marque in the annual "Battle of the Bay". This most likely will also be Texas City's toughest remaining game as well, as they will finish with Dawson and Brazosport. This could be a huge win for the Stings if they can pull it off.

Santa Fe @ La Marque
The Santa Fe Indians are coming off a tough 19-14 loss to Manvel last week. The Indians have struggled offensively all year and are ranked dead last in 24-4A in offensive output. It could be another long week for the Indians
The La Marque Cougars are coming off a loss last week to Texas City in the annual "Battle of the Bay". The Cougars will look to get back on track and regain the passing game they had in the two prior games.
Prediction : Cougars by 21
Brazosport @ Dawson
The Brazosport Exporters come into this weeks match-up with an opportunity to create some space between themselves and Dawson who is tied with the Exporters in the district standings. A win this week would put them at least tied for the third play-off spot with two weeks to play. The Exporters Gary Bivens is leading the district in rushing so far with 898 yards.
The Dawson Eagles look to rebound after a tough loss to Friendswood last week. Dawson currently sits as the third best team in the district offensively, but after last weeks loss to Friendswood are now dead last in team defense. They will need to have big games from Lazard, Brown, and Blackshire to win this week.
