District 21-4A: Week 8 Previews, Predictions

TexasPrepInsider.com has returned for the 2008 football season and we are bringing back our weekly predictions of your favorite teams. Check out who we feel will come away with a win this week. This is free content so enjoy.

Houston Sharpstown vs. Houston Yates
Despite the fact that Sharpstown quarterback Sam Carter is constantly running wild to try and buy time for throws, that is minor compared to the things going on at Yates. The Lions are 0-3 in district play right now and I can't remember the last that has happened, if ever. Anyways, the Apollos are still in solid position for a playoff spot and may look to tune things up this week against Yates.

Houston Davis vs. Houston Waltrip
Will it be 7-0 for the Davis football team? My answer is yes. This Panther team has been on fire and there has not been a whole lot that have slowed or stopped them up to this point. Quarterback John Castillo and wide receiver Patrick Cheniere have been a lethal combination so far this season.

Look for that trend to continue as the Davis team earns another win.

Houston Reagan vs. Houston Austin
Not a whole lot of funk going on for Austin, but the Mustangs did sneak up on Yates a couple of weeks ago and drooped 30 point in a loss to Sharpstown. With that said, the Mustangs are favored in a match up against Reagan.

Look for Austin running back Clifford Williams to have a big day in district win No. 2 for Austin.
