Friday's Games

Pasadena @ La Porte

The Pasadena Eagles come into theis weeks game also looking to play spoiler. Like Rayburn, they can ruin their opponents play-off chances with an upset victory this week.
The La Porte Bulldog's are very much in the driver seat as far as their own play-off destiny is concerned. The Bulldog's are pretty much already guaranteed a spot, but can solidify that with a win this week. Junior Kendrick Perkins is having a nice season with 693 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns.

Prediction : Bulldog's by 17

South Houston @ Pasadena Memorial

The South Houston Trojans have a chance to claim a play-off spot this week with a win. If they lose they greatly hamper their shot at the play-offs this year. The Trojans are ranked third in team defense with in the district giving up just under 250 yards of offense a game.
The Pasadena Memorial Mavericks really need to not only win this week, but really need to win out to avoid any confusion as to if they are in the play-offs. The Mavericks come into week 9 2nd in team offense, but dead last in team defense. Senior Bo Snelson continues to lead the district as well as the Houston area with 1332 rushing yards this season.

Prediction Mavericks by 10

Deer Park @ Pearland

The Deer Park Deer enter this weeks epic match-up with Pearland knowing that whatever team wins this game will claim the district crown. The Deer are ranked near the top of just about every statistical catagory. So are their opponents this week. The Deer have leading rusher Travis Carter back healthy.
The Pearland Oilers aslo come into the week near the top of every statistical catagory. Thay seem to have the bigger names as far as the big three of Allen, Carrier, and Miller go on offense, but will need to come with their A game versus a very sound Deer park team.

Prediction : OIlers by 7

Match-up of the week : Deer Park @ Pearland
