Dayton drops the bomb on C.E. King, 46-7

At TexasPrepInsider our tag line is ‘We are There.' And unlike some publications, we try and get out to the entire Greater Houston (and statewide) area in our coverage. Tonight we bring you updates from the Week 9 Friday match up between Dayton and C.E. King. Game-day coverage from TPI is free so check it out.

There were neither tricks nor treats in the 19-4A match up between Dayton and C.E. King. Of course, if you are a Bronco fan I guess seeing your team rack up 485 yards offensively and winning 46-7 over a district rival Friday night at Crenshaw Memorial Stadium then so be it.

Leading the charge for Dayton was quarterback Cody Green who accounted for 359 yards and five total touchdowns. His trusty sidekick A.J. Dugat also had a solid showing with eight catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

Defense also held up their end of the deal holding the run-happy Panther offense to 285 total yards. On the Panthers' side, Alvester Alexander was the leader with 58 yards.

TexasPrepInsider talked with Dayton coach Jerry Stewart after the game to get his thoughts. Check it out.
