The first team quarterback, Zach Williams, broke all types of records for Melissa this season. I could see him walking on somewhere. The system that he was in did prepare him for most college systems. The kid has a good arm and a great deep ball.

I'd like to see Terry Land continue his football playing on Saturday. He has great breakaway speed and is a good deep threat. He could walk-on at a local university and likely see some playing time in a couple of seasons. He has great hands and would be a good possession receiver.

Two players that will see the college stage are Cam Feldt and Colton Lyon. Feldt fell in love with Arkansas and committed to the school this past summer. Feldt had a great season. Blake Feldt is the coach of Pilot Point, and his son was like an extra coach on the field. He helped lead Pilot Point to the state semifinals this season. He blocked for Jarman Johnson, a D1 caliber player that might see time in college as a defensive back.

Colton Lyon, the Boyd Tight End, impressed a lot of folks this season. The kid has good size and speed and many in the recruiting circles project him to play linebacker in college. Boyd, a primarily running team, uses him as a primarily blocking tight end and he did a great job in that capacity this season.
