Pearland RB lands first offers (w/video)

After back-to-back 1,000-plus yard seasons, Pearland running back Kasey Carrier is starting to see some major movement in his recruitment. He was already getting plenty of interest, but TexasPrepInsider has been told of a couple of recent offers.

It may have taken quite some time, but Pearland running back Kasey Carrier has received the Division I offers he has longed for. In a recent conversation with his father, Kevin, TexasPrepInsider was told that both New Mexico and Wyoming have stepped up with offers.

In addition to these, Kevin Carrier also said that Sam Houston State and Texas Southern have extended offers. Kansas State, Utah, Air Force, Southern Miss, and Navy are still showing interest as well.

In his final year at Pearland, the 5-8, 185-pound Carrier had 2,117 yards and scored 35 touchdowns. Stay tuned to TexasPrepInsider for the latest recruiting information on Texas athletes.
