Lipscomb Enjoys LSU Visit

Saginaw Boswell RB Dante Lipscomb's recruitment is starting to heat up and this weekend he visited SEC power LSU. Find out how his trip went!

After a junior season that didn't go quite as planned as nagging injuries plauged Dante Lipscomb throughout 2008 many would think his recruitment would cool off. That doesn't seem to be the case as the 5'11 175 pound back is getting interest from LSU, Mississsippi, Iowa, Auburn and Georgia Tech.

"I really liked LSU it was a cool visit, we went to a basketball game as LSU played Arkansas. I got to meet with Coach Porter and Russell Shepard, Jordan Jeffries and Charles Scott talked to us," said Lipscomb who currently is getting ready for track season.

In 2007 Lipscomb earned District 6-4A newcomer of the year honors for BHS rushing for 749 yards and 13 touchdowns. 2008 was a tough season as Dante only ran for 480 yards and 4 touchdowns as his carries and workload was reduced.
