Brandon Smith lights it up

If you have a big time game right out of the chute, you get a little love. We offer a Tuesday morning shout out to Auburn-Riverside guard Brandon Smith.

The sharp-shooting junior lit it up for 31 points on opening night Monday in a 77-49 win over Highline.

Brandon averaged 15.1ppg as a sophomore and was impressive during the summer playing with Friends of Hoop. He is a deadly outside shooter, he hit four treys in the opener, and brings a doggish toughness to the court.

Here's a big time Nuthin' but Net shout out to Brandon Smith for his big time performance on opening night.
