Carr lays 32 on Hazen in Oh Boy! Oberto Classic

When he's hot, he's really hot. And he's been on fire in his first eight games, averaging 29.3 points per game. Issaquah's junior shooting guard Garrison Carr was feelin' it again Friday night.

Carr popped in 32 in a 79-63 win over Hazen in the Oh Boy! Oberto Christmas Classic. That's the fourth time he's gone for better than 30 points thus far. Carr is our "Stud-of-the-Day" for Friday.

Other's getting it done Friday included:

Ron Rhodes scored 29 as Evergreen beat Sedro-Woolley 70-58.

Patrick Frost scored 26, 23 in the first half, to pace 7-1 Mercer Island past Catalina Foothills (AZ).

Jon Ralph put up 25 but it was not enough as Kentlake lost to Lindbergh 53-52.

Steffan Johnson and Joey Luke combined for 43 points as Kent-Meridian took care of Interlake 80-67. Bryce Brigham had 23 in the loss.

Bothell moved to 5-1 with a 64-57 win over Blaine. Stefan Clark scored 21 and Micah Downs had a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards.

Mitch Teskey scored 21 and Calvin Saylor hit the game winner as Enumclaw edged Foss 55-53.
