Martell Webster goes for D-D, Prep tops O'Dea

Seattle Prep Coach Chris Miller has asked before, "do you think we'd be better with a 6-7, 230-pounder?" Maybe you would coach, maybe you would. 6-7, 230-pound junior Martell Webster evidently has his game back. After missing two months with a broken bone in his foot the highly-rated wing showed Tuesday night he is all better now. And Coach Miller might just think his team is a little better off right about now.

Webster scored 17 points and snagged 10 rebounds as the Panthers topped O'Dea 48-37 in their Metro League contest.

And while voters went to the polls to mark their ballots in support or in opposition to various school and operations levis, Eastlake's Nick Livi was casting his vote. The Eastern Washington University signee dropped 38 points in his own ballot box. But it wasn't enough as Franklin voted down the Wolves 86-83. Quaker senior guard Lyndale Burleson stuffed the ballot box twice with 24 points and 12 assists while logging 6 thefts.

Bethel stayed unbeaten, dumping Decatur 75-57 behind 24 points from senior guard Desmond Meray's 24 points. 6-8 junior Brandon Moore had another d-d, 10 and 10 points and boards. He also sent 6 shots in the other direction, voting those puppies down.
