Bethel girls run past Beamer, 54-35

SPANAWAY-- Airiel Geller scored 21 points and Alychia Colon added 12 as the Bethel girls defeated the Beamer girls 54-35 in South Pujet Sound League action. Look inside for an EvergreenStatePreps.com exclusive photo story.

Bethel's Anna McCracken went down with an injury in the first half. The game was delayed for 15 minutes while she was attended by staff members.


Finally McCracken was helped up and walked off the court with assistance. Fans and players of both teams applauded McCracken's hustle.


The Bethel High School pep band blared its music the entire game.

Bethel held a 20-12 lead at the half but Beamer quickly cut the lead to 20-18 early in the third quarter.


Second half action as a Beamer guard drives past Bethel's Alychia Colon. Colon finished with 12 points.


Beamer's Austin finished with 10 points.
The game was delayed again in the fourth period when the ball was pinned against the backboard.


Bethel prevailed 54-35 to improve their record to 6-1. The Braves improved to 6-1 overall (4-0 SPSL) and will next visit Graham-Kapowsin on December 19th. Beamer fell to 1-6 overall (1-3 SPSL). The Titans next host Puyallup on December 18th.
