Carr does just about everything for Jackson. In addition to the statistics listed above, Carr is on every special teams unit except kick cover. His talents are also utilized as punter for the Timberwolves. In his last game against Edmonds-Woodway, Carr ran for a touchdown, caught a touchdown, and had an interception.
Riley lines up at nearly every position on offense for Jackson. His primary position is RB but he also plays WR and runs Jackson's version of the "wildcat" offense. Carr is the type of intelligent playmaker that colleges are looking for. Most schools have talked to him about playing linebacker but I could also see him as a college fullback. He already has a qualifying score on the SAT and his GPA is well above standards.
Carr is hearing from Wyoming, Eastern Washington, and Air Force among others. Air Force has been recruiting him the most and he is headed there on a visit later this month. He will be there on October 17th when they play Wyoming.
Carr was hesitant to call Air Force his favorite right now, but is really interested in finding out more about the program. We will continue to follow Carr's recruitment as his season goes on. Whatever schools lands this all-purpose talent will be getting one of the evergreen state's best playmakers.
