Riley Carr Receives Offer

Riley Carr got some great news on his trip to Air Force this past weekend…

Riley Carr took a trip to see Air Force play Wyoming this past weekend. Both teams have shown interest in recruiting Carr to play for their school. ESP caught up with him this week to find out about the trip…

How was the trip to Air Force?
Good experience. It was a great learning about the academy and all the traditions they have. I didn't know that much before I went down there.

What did you like most about the trip?
I loved the atmosphere at the game. There was a lot of passion and traditions. The parachuting onto the field before the game and the flyover were pretty cool.

When did they offer you?
After the game. My family and I got a tour of the campus with some coaches, they offered me then.

Was this an official visit?
No, this was an unofficial visit. We had to fly down early Saturday morning because I had a game Friday night.

What position are they looking for you to play?
They have watched my offensive film and liked it enough to offer me at fullback. They said they haven't evaluated my defensive film yet and may move me to linebacker when they do.

Have you thought about when you might want to make a decision on which school to attend?
Wait a couple weeks, at least until the season is over. I want to see if any other offers come in and make sure I make the right decision for me and my family.

What other schools are you still hearing from?
No new schools really. The same schools as before.

How do you feel about the big game coming up tomorrow night against Mountlake Terrace?
I think we have a good game plan. They might try and pound it on the ground against us. That is what they did last year. We need to come out with intensity and play hardnosed defense.

We will keep an eye on Riley as his recruiting winds down and he makes the decision of where to play college football.
