Video: Ryobi 18V Inflator and Deflator

There's more than one way to inflate a tire, air mattress, beach ball, floatie toy, soccer ball...and so on.

You've got the manual hand pump, foot pump, plug-in electric air station and air pumps that plug into a car's accessory outlet. I recently tried out a new a inflator option, the Ryobi 18V Dual Function Inflator/Deflator (P731).

See it in action. Watch the Ryobi Inflator/Deflator go head-to-head with Gary.

This tool can deliver air using high pressure or high volume. The high pressure function also features an automatic pressure setting that shuts off automatically when the specified air pressure setting is reached. In high volume mode, the air is delivered under less pressure, prefect for a large inflatable, such as an air mattress. As the name suggests this inflator as features a very useful deflator function, making it really easy to deflate beach toys after a long day of fun in the sun.

This tool has a list price of $39.98 and is sold without a battery or charger, so it's intended for people that already own a tool and 18V battery from the Ryobi One+ line.
