Innovation Explosion in Milwaukee

Get a sneak peek of what this inventive tool brand has in store for the coming months.

Handy was recently invited to visit Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation to see what they'll be rolling out with later this year and early next year. The following are a few impressive highlights:

M18 Stand Light, coming this August
This new stand light looks like a Transformer, with features that fold in and out for versatility and carrying convenience. Plus, it's built tough to withstand harsh jobsite conditions. Following suit of the rest of the lighting tools in Milwaukee's ever-expanding line, this addition puts off top-notch light for the best visibility during any job.

Shockwave Next Gen Driver Bits, coming this September

Improving the power and performance of Milwaukee tools such as impact drivers also requires improvements to accessories that go along with those tools. One example of this is the new Shockwave bits. Milwaukee showcased a stress test at the event, as you'll see in the photo above, and the new Shockwave bit (far right) outlasted the competition.

M18 RedLithium High Demand 9.0 Battery Pack, coming in January 2016
A standout at the event was the reveal of Milwaukee's new M18 9.0 battery. This innovation will take Milwaukee's cordless tools to a new level, above and beyond industry expectations. As shown in the photo above, Milwaukee's M18 reciprocating saw with a RedLithium High Demand 9.0 Battery Pack can handle more than five times the amount of cuts that an equivilent saw from the competition can handle. And that's just the tip of the iceberg for this innovative battery technology.

Empire UV LED Box Level, coming in April 2016
Ever try to read a level inside a dark cabinet or closet? This new light-up level from Empire provides just the solution for that problem. Now part of Milwaukee Tool, the Empire brand will have plenty of more innovations to come later this year and in 2016, so stay tuned.
