Tip: Olive Oil Spread

Cooking Club member Ellen Lonsdale shares a tip for making olive oil more spreadable.

"Chilled olive oil makes a perfect spread," says Lonsdale. "Pour some into a small jar and store in the refrigerator. When it solidifies to a spreadable consistency, use it on bread slices or grilled sandwiches, or use it in any recipe that calls for liquid olive oil. The more solid form is less messy to measure out."
