"I use my immersion blender to make fresh applesauce," says Liz. "Just core the apples (any type; any combination), leaving the peel on the apple. Place the apples in a pan with a small amount of water; cover and cook until apples are soft. I add a little cinnamon (and no sugar) and then use the immersion blender to mash the apples. The skins disappear right into the pulp."
