America's favorite Mexican fast food chains, Chipotle and Taco Bell, have launched mobile apps for customers who are sick of waiting in line to satisfy their craving. Downloading the app via iTunes makes it possible for users to place their order, select a pick-up time and make a payment. All that's left is to grab your bag of goodies and go.
Taco Bell launched its app a couple of days ago, going way outside the bun to unveil an advanced mobile app that lets folks order and pay on their smartphones then walk in or drive through to pick up their food.
Other major restaurant chains have launched mobile apps, too: Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza and Outback Steakhouse, to name a few. The mad dash to use technology for a more streamlined fast food experience makes you wonder what's next. Sandwiches dropped from the sky via parachute? Oh, wait--that actually is a thing.
