Shrimp-Garlic-Artichoke Pizza with Red Pepper

With purchased fresh dough on hand, you’re just minutes away from home-made pizza.


For Pizza Dough:

HEAT: Arrange oven rack in bottom position. Place pizza stone or heavy baking sheet on bottom oven rack. Heat oven to 500ºF for at least 30 minutes.

ROLL: Roll out 8 oz. purchased pizza dough to 12-inch round. Place on parchment paper.

TOP: Brush dough with 1 tablespoon olive oil mixed with 1 large minced garlic clove. Add toppings in the order listed in the recipe below.

Shrimp, Garlic, Artichoke and Red Pepper Topping

1/4 cup Alfredo sauce, purchased
1/2 cup quartered canned artichoke hearts, patted dry
1/3 cup red bell pepper, sliced
8 oz. shelled, deveined, uncooked medium shrimp (31 to 35 count)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large garlic clove, minced 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend

  1. Sauté shrimp, tails removed, with olive oil and minced garlic in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 1 to 2 minutes or until shrimp just begins to turn pink. Cool slightly.
  2. Top dough with Alfredo sauce, artichoke hearts, sliced red bell pepper, sautéed shrimp and shredded Italian cheese blend.

BAKE: Slide pizza with parchment paper onto pizza stone. Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until bottom of crust is golden brown. Using tongs, slide pizza onto baking sheet; cut into 8 wedges.
