'King Kool' Sweet Corn

Learn more about this oh-so-sweet sweet corn variety.

The newest trend in sweet corn is the synergistic type, which combines sugary enhanced (se) kernels and supersweet (sh2) kernels on the same ear. Recently, Burpee introduced ‘King Kool’, a synergistic sweet corn that ripens fast. The bicolor ears are about 8 inches long and 2 inches wide; plan on two ears per stalk. Plant ‘King Kool’ when soil is at least 60°F. Seedlings will survive mild frost.
