1 cup flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal

3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Stubb’s Smokey Mesquite Bar-B-Q Sauce
2 tablespoons honey
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.
In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg, milk and vegetable oil until combined. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. To test doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the cornbread until it comes out clean.
Mix Stubb’s sauce with honey, and brush lightly over freshly baked cornbread.
