Robert dos Remedios, MA, CSCS is a former J.C. Football All-American (Glendale Community College, CA) who went on to have a stellar Pac-10 career, starting every game in his two seasons at The University of California-Berkeley. At College of the Canyons, CA, he presently serves as the first and only full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach in the California Community College system.

Robert holds a Masters degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge with an emphasis on sport-specific conditioning. Coach dos Remedios is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a United States Weightlifting Federation (USWF) certified club coach. Robert has spoken on conditioning all over the country and was the first coach to present a strength and conditioning topic at the California Community College Football Coaches Association state Clinic back in 1993. Robert also teaches many strength and conditioning classes and workshops in the UCLA Extension program. With over 13 years of experience conditioning thousands of athletes, Robert brings tremendous scientific, functional training knowledge to his football athletes at College of the Canyons.

Going on it’s 4th year of competition, Robert has helped to build a top level football program at College of the Canyons along with a training facility that rivals most 4 –year schools. The Cougars are not only the FIRST J.C. football team go to a bowl game in its 1st year of competition…they have gone to THREE straight bowl games in their first three seasons!
