This is not my real subject, but I was thinking NCoast65, yelee, glenpark or anyone else who can guess my real subejct will win nothing.
There is a lot of talk about a playoff. I do not think this will happen soon. But if it did you can do 3 conferences all the A and B teams. There are a total of 21 and that makes the math pretty easy. 3 of 7. I placed teams as best I could by geography. Here they are.
North Bay Valley
Butte CCSF Fresno American River CSM Delta Sierra Foothil Modesto Santa Rosa DeAnza COS Siskeyous Laney West Hills Sacramento Chabot Reedley Feather River DVC Merced
Now is it perfect? Probabley not. I think the Valley is a little weak. Bay may be too strong. But if you do win you are in and then the highest ranked #2 and there is your playoff. Let me know what you think.
For sure, this is excellent work, it contains understanding and vision. This is the kind of effort all of us associate with NFL and recently, with NCAA. This kind of approach raises the football product to its most attractive aspects as regards to putting fans in the stands and games on the airwaves.
But things are the way they are because the guys with all the clout in this part of the football universe want things to be this way. I hope things will change so we do not lose any more blue chip programs like Solano, and that JC Football can survive the budget crises facing so many school administrators.
Love the setup NOCALFAN. I'd personally like to throw in another 2 teams and make it a 6 team playoff. Top 6 teams get in, conference winners get automatic, remaining 3 slots go by rank/power pts. top 2 get 1st rd bye week.
