Two offers on the table for Chaffey's Munro

Chaffey is loaded with D-1 talent this year and OT Colin Munro (6-5, 320) has two D-1 offers already to his name. JCFootball.com caught up with the talented offensive line prospect and he updated us on things including what he does best on the football field...

"I like run-blocking, but I have good feet so I'm pretty good at pass-blocking too," Munro told JCFootball.com recently. "I worked this summer on my footwork and my agility and I feel like it has really helped me so far this year."

Munro's size and athleticism are ideal for the left tackle position and two FBS programs have already told him they like him enough to offer.

"Washington State and Memphis have offered me," Munro said. "My coaches have been handling a lot of my recruiting and they are the ones that told me they offered.

"I have spoken directly to Arizona, but they haven't offered me yet and I know a few other schools have called my coaches, but I'm not really too worried about that stuff right now."

Munro prepped at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California and enjoyed a solid prep career there, but he was unable to qualify for a four-year scholarship so he decided to go the JUCO route.

"I was at College of the Desert back in 2008 and played there that year," Munro said. "Then I moved to Florida last year and spent time helping my mom get back on her feet, so I redshirted.

"Then when I came home, I started looking around for another school that I could go to and Chaffey seemed like he best chance for me because they had a good offensive line coach here and I liked the staff and how they did things here."

Munro is on pace to finish up his AA degree in May and he will have two years to play two wherever he ends up.
