-- Cerritos S Keith McGill is having a big season for the Falcons. So far, the athletically gifted DB has posted 40 tackles and 6 interceptions two of which he's returned for touchdowns so far.

McGill is a freakish athlete with range and size and he committed to Utah during the summer and seems set to stick with the Utes although schools like Arizona, Oregon State and USC have also offered and have him keeping his options open at this point.

-- Moorpark's duo of Brian Baldwin and Steven Cristobal both are ballhawks in the Raider secondary.

Baldwin plays both corner and safety and has nearly 40 tackles as well as 5 interceptions and Cristobal has 25 tackles and 4 interceptions as well.

-- Teyon Reese, a sophomore with Butler, is third on the Grizzlies with 46 tackles and has 3 passes defensed and 1 interception.

-- Hutchinson's Duane Sims, a 5'9", 170-pound freshman, has been outstanding for the Blue Dragons this season. Starting all eight games, the talented corner has posted 40 tackles, 3 interceptions and 6 passes defensed.

-- Coffeyville has one of the top ballhawks in the country with CB Nu'keese Richardson posting 7 interceptions and 11 passes defensed to go along with 36 tackles.

The Tennessee bounceback is set to finish up his coursework in December and he's getting looks from schools across the country.

-- Nassau's Malachi Freeman has been huge this season posting 5 interceptions, one of which he's returned for a touchdown.

-- Tyler S Maurice Hood is an outstanding prospect who has notched 68 tackles. He plays down in the box and can play a 'Rover' or strong safety position at the next level.

-- Northeast Oklahoma's Romon Beard has had a great season thus far posting 40 tackles and three interceptions, one of which he returned 85 yards for a touchdown.

-- City College of San Francisco's Nigel Malone continues to be a thorn in opposing offenses sides by posting 3 interceptions, 15 passes defensed and 20 tackles while being a lock-down cover-man in the Rams' secondary.

-- Mike Wallace, a sophomore, and Ron Fields, a freshman, have both been mainstays in College of San Mateo's secondary this season.

Each has posted three interceptions and Wallace has 32 tackles while Fields has 21 tackles for the Bulldogs.

-- Long Beach's Fred Rogers has 41 tackles and 5 picks for a 3-4 team.

-- L.A. Harbor DB Byron Moore Jr., a USC bounceback, has been outstanding for the Seahawks this season posting 29 tackles with 4 interceptions.

He has offers from schools like Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, Nevada and Oregon State and is getting interest from Miami and Washington among others.

-- Mt. San Jacinto CB Cejay Ceniza has had an outstanding season so far, posting 27 tackles, 4 interceptions and 10 passes defensed for a team that is 3-4, but has lost several close games.

-- The combo of Torri Zeno and Josh Irvin have been huge for Canyons this season.

Zeno has 15 tackles, 6 passes defensed and 2 interceptions while Irvin has chipped in with 24 tackles, 11 passses defensed and a team-leading 3 picks this season.

-- Bakersfield CB Alphonso Jackson, a freshman, has been outstanding for the Gades this fall posting 6 passes defensed, 3 interceptions and 20 tackles.

-- Mt. San Antonio's Malcolm Murray, who signed with Oklahoma State but returned to Walnut, Ca. to re-open his recruitment, has had a great season so far for the Mounties by posting 20 tackles and 3 interceptions from his safety position.

-- Fullerton freshman Marquies Richardson has shown why he will be one of the top JUCO DBs available next year with his performance so far this season.

The super-quick corner has 33 tackles and 3 interceptions so far this season.

-- Arizona Western's Isaih Wiley has been trouble for opposing quarterbacks this season, shutting down every wideout he's faced so far this season, posting 41 tackles and 2 interceptions.

The Arkansas commit has had offers pour in from schools across the country but is set to sign with the Razorbacks in December.

-- Copiah-Lincoln DB Dehendret Collins had a huge game last week posting 5 tackles in 2 interceptions in a 42-35 win over East Central.

-- East Mississippi S Perrance Ward, a Preseason All-American, has 5 interceptions and 56 tackles including an 11 tackle, 1 sack, 1 interception performance last week in a 42-27 win over Mississippi Delta last week.
