Trinity Valley's Daniels gets another offer

On Sunday, Trinity Valley takes on Navarro for the SWJCFC Championship and one of the top performers on the Cardinals' defense this season has been LB Everett Daniels (6-2, 220). The talented linebacker has put up over 90 tackles and six sacks so far this season and because of that performance a Conference USA team has extended an offer...

Daniels is second in both tackles and sacks for the Cardinals and said he feels the season has been a success.

"I feel like individually I have played well, but I'm just worried about helping out my team," Daniels told JCFootball.com. "We have a chance to make a bowl game with a win this weekend, so we're focused and I think we'll play real well against a really good team in Navarro."

Daniels already had an offer from Marshall heading into the season and recently got an offer from another C-USA school.

"Houston just offered me and they want me to come up for a visit," Daniels said. "I think I'm scheduled for a visit there on December 10th, but I have to firm that up with them next week.

"Besides them, I'm hearing a lot from Central Flroida (UCF) and a few other schools, but those are the ones I'm hearing from the most."

Daniels is on pace to graduate in May and he'll have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
