Murray focused on a championship

Mt. San Antonio is 10-0 and ranked number one and one of the big reasons is the play of S Malcolm Murray (6-2, 200). The talented DB solidified the deep patrol of the Mounties and while he recently told JCFootball.com he was focused on the playoffs, he also has in mind which two schools will definitely get visits after the season is complete…

"It's only the second time ever that Mt. SAC is undefeated, so we're rolling right now and we just have to keep playing well and make sure we get the championship," Murphy told JCFootball.com recently. "It's my first team, in any sport, where I've been undefeated so I'm real focused on what we need to get done."

Murphy has been solid for the Mounties in the secondary, using his instincts and talent to post 28 tackles and 3 interceptions.

On the recruiting front, Murray is holding steady with two offers -- from Hawaii and Cincinnati -- and those are the two schools who he says will definitely get a visit.

"Hawaii and Cincinnati are the two that I will visit for sure," Murray said. "After that, I'm not really sure yet.

"I like both of them and they are really interested in me and what I can do."

In addition to those two schools, Murray is also hearing from Oregon State, UCLA and Nevada.

Murray is on pace to sign with a school in December and he will have two years to play two wherever he ends up.
