The Scotties

NAME: Tony Madison
6-4, 185
FORTY: 4.56

COMMENTS: Antonio Madison had 41 catches for 817 with 13 touchdowns. His 19.9 y.p.c. was one of the best in the conference. Was a great high jumper in high school and he uses that athleticism to his advantage. Madison should have a huge sophomore season as his QB, Jeff Abbott, will be back in the saddle. (see below)

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri. Did not sign with anyone out of high school.

NAME: Joe Taylor
6-3, 290
FORTY: 4.8

COMMENTS: A late bloomer who is extremely quick for his size -- and getting stronger. Carries a 2.5+ GPA and should qualify easily. Taylor should get lots of looks given his rare combination of size and speed. Had 18 tackles (5 for loss) and 2 fumble recoveries as a freshman.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri.

NAME: Josh Prochnow
HT/WT: 6-2, 220
FORTY: 4.8

COMMENTS: "A smart player," said coach Greg Delzeid. "Tell him once and he won't make the same mistake again." Prochnow is a player who may end up in the Ivy League as he scored a 30 ACT. As a freshman he tallied 30 tackles with 11 for loss. He also had 5 sacks and 2 picks.

Originally from Pomona, Kansas.

NAME: Jeff Abbott
HT/WT: 6-0 1/2, 212
FORTY: 4.8

COMMENTS: Abbott led the conference in total offense and passing. He was 168 - 352 - 2,026 with 20 touchdowns and 16 INTs. Needs to work on speed; looks to improve on TD/INT ratio during his sophomore season.
