Heading into the 2000 season, Hutton was slated to be a starter at either guard or center for the Bulldogs.  Universities were beginning to catch wind of Hutton, a native of Santa Maria and 1999 graduate of Righetti High School.  Unfortunately for Hutton and the Bulldogs, Trevor suffered a grade 2 tear of his MCL in the Bulldogs' second game of the season.  He was able to get a redshirt for the season and immediately go to work on rehabilitating his knee.

Seven months later, Trevor is in game shape.  He has his weight up to 290-pounds from the 260-pound frame he played with in high school.  His MAX bench press is approximately 460-pounds and his MAX squat is 625-pounds.  Trevor has developed a unique method of developing his drive blocking ability.  He attached a heavy punching bag to the back of his 1986 Isuzu pickup truck and he drive blocks his truck.

Trevor was a qualifier coming out of high school and currently carries a 2.9 G.P.A.  He could have transferred mid-year this year and will be able to do the same next year.  He would like to know all of his offers before he makes a decision on where he will take his career.
