JCFootball.com continues it's look around the country at some of the top performers at each position and today we take a look at a few of the top JUCO defensive backs and how they've fared so far this season...

Grossmont S David Edgerson - Edgerson has been outstanding this seson posting 35 tackles and two interceptions for the Griffins this year.

L.A. Southwest CB Travohn Wolfe - The talented DB has been a physical force for LASW this year posting 53 tackles and four interceptions, leading the team in both categories.

College of the Desert CB Deonte Florence - The Roadrunners boast two solid freshman in their secondary, but Florence has put up the bigger numbers leading the team with four interceptions and also racking up 11 tackles.

El Camino S Royce Lewis - Lewis has helped solidify the Warriors' deep patrol this season totaling 29 tackles from his safety spot.

Pasadena CB Jarron Williams - One of the top freshman cover-corners in the state, Williams has totaled 30 tackles and two interceptions so far this season.

West Los Angeles S Travis Cabral - Cabral has been a beast for the Wildcats this year, totaling 48 tackles and five interceptions, leading the team in both categories.

Riverside S Markus Smith - Opposing coaches have to gameplan around Smith who has shown great range and physicality this season posting 24 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and two interceptions.

Riverside DB Chris Gonzalez - Gonzalez isn't very big, but he plays that way, totaling six interceptions and 19 tackles so far this season.

East Los Angeles CB Tyrone Moore - Moore has been all over the place for ELAC this season, leading the team with 38 tackles and two interceptions while also posting 4.5 tackles-for-loss and two sacks as well.

Eastern Arizona CB Mohammed Seisay - Seisay wasn't the big name heading into the 2011 for the Gila Monsters, but he's put up All-American numbers so far, leading the WSFL in interceptions with six and also posting 32 tackles in eight games.

Snow S Jake Palmer - Palmer has been a playmaker for the 7-0 Badgers this season hauling in three interceptions to go along with his 22 tackles.

East Mississippi S Shaquille Fluker - The freshman has been a pleasant surprise for the Lions coaching staff this season, posting 51 tackles (36 solo) and two picks including a seven tackle, one interception, one fumble recovery effort in East Mississippi's big win over Pearl River last weekend.

Itawamba S Tevin Spurgon - Spurgon had a huge game last week in the Indians' 42-27 win over Holmes posting eight tackles, two interceptions and three passes defensed. So far this season, Spurgon has posted 35 tackles and three interceptions.

Fort Scott S Kevin Short - Short continues to lead the Jayhawk conference with five interceptions and has also racked up 38 tackles so far this year.

Coffeyville CB Briean Boddy - The Red Ravens have leaned heavily on the coverage abilities of Bobby and he hasn't disappointed posting four interceptions and 32 tackles so far this season.

Joliet CB Brandon Dixon - Dixon has settled in nicely for Joliet this season, hauling in three interceptions, racking up 10 passes defensed and totaling 33 tackles.

Iowa Western S Drake Ferch - Ferch has been solid for the Reivers this season picking off four passes and totaling 29 tackles.

Louisburg CB Kewitt Koonce - Koonce has put up All-American numbers so far this season, leading the nation with eight interceptions while also posting 21 tackles and 13 passes defensed.

Dean CB Donovan Walker - Walker leads the Bulldogs in interceptions (3) and passes defensed (6) and has 19 tackles as well.
