Top Quarterbacks: Northern California continues our look at some of the top quarterbacks in the country and today we look at the top JUCO signal-callers in Northern California which has featured several top signal-callers including Fresno City's Lance Orender who has put up big numbers the past two years...

1) Fresno City QB Lance Orender - For the past two years, Orender has been one of the top signal-callers in the state and this year he completed 59.9% of his passes for 2,965 yards with 37 touchdowns and only eight interceptions.

2) American River QB Andy McAlindon - The freshman signal-caller put up big numbers for the Beavers this fall, completing 62.9% of his passes for 2,716 yards, 34 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

3) Monterey Peninsula QB David Fales - Monterey Peninsula had a very good season this year and the play of Fales is a big reason why. The talented sophomore used his solid decision-making skills and arm to complete 64.7% of his passes for 2,517 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

4) CC of San Francisco QB Turner Baty - Baty helped ease the loss of Steele Jantz by leading the Rams to the state championship game by throwing for 2,410 yards, 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions while completing over 62% of his passes.

5) Sierra QB Herman Tapley - The talented freshman signal-caller was a bright spot for the Wolverines this season, completing over 51% of his passes for 2,381 yards, 18 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

6) Merced QB Trevor Mew - Merced always has an explosive offense and Mew led the Blue Devils' attack by hitting on nearly 56% of his passes for 2,350 yards with 20 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.

7) San Joaquin Delta QB Sam Hutsell - Hutsell used his quick feet and live arm to put up solid numbers as a freshman in 2011, posting 244 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground while completing 58.5% of his passes for 2,284 yards and 20 touchdowns with only 12 interceptions while leading the Mustangs to a 6-4 record.

8) Modesto QB Quinton McCown - McCown is a name to remember for next year, but as a freshman, he threw for 2,019 yards, 18 touchdowns and only nine interceptions while completing over 59% of his passes.

9) Feather River QB Tyler Pine - Pine had a solid season for the Golden Eagles, helping his team to a 5-5 record while completing 62.9% of his passes for 1,946 yards, 17 touchdowns and only nine interceptions.

10) Butte QB Collin Ramirez - Ramirez had a great season for the Roadrunners and recruiting is expected to pick up for the talented sophomore in the near future after he threw for 1,917 yards, 27 touchdowns and only six interceptions while completing nearly 60% of his passes.
