Three new offers for COS DB

After redshirting in 2011, College of the Sequoias CB Darren Doston (6-1, 195) has made it his mission to show schools what he can do this year and with his impressive size, speed and athleticism, he's already hauled in five offers and more schools could get in the mix sooner rather than later...

Doston already had offers from Houston and Iowa State and recently received offers from three more schools.

"I now have offers from South Florida, Middle Tennessee and Arizona State too," Doston told JCFootball.com via text over the weekend.

In addition to his three new offers, Doston is also hearing from the likes of California, Houston, Iowa State, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, UCLA and Utah as well.

Doston prepped at Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Florida and was unable to qualify for a D-1 scholarship.

He enrolled at Dean College in Massachusetts, but then headed west and found a home with the Giants.

"I had to sit out last year because I didn't have enough credits when I transferred," Dotson told JCFootball.com recently. "It was really hard sitting out last fall, but it just motivated me to get ready for this year so I can have the best year possible."

Doston is currently on pace to finish up his AA degree in December and he will have three to play three following the 2012 football season.
