Three Butler prospects are still available

Every year at this time, there are still some top JUCO prospects available and that is the case with Butller LB Jeff Page (pictured), CB Dyllon Knox and DE Darrius McMullin. All three are looking for homes and the hope is that in the near future FBS schools come looking now that their spring football practices are concluded...

DE Darrius McMullin - McMullin had an offer from Western Kentucky, but that no longer appears to be an option for him. He had a solid year for the Grizzlies and can play on either side, but is probably a better fit on the weakside where he can use his speed and athleticism to get after the quarterback.

2011 Stats: 51 tackles, 4 tackles-for-loss, 4 sacks

LB Jeff Page - Page put up big numbers this year and has the instincts and athleticism to play all three linebacker spots. He was set to sign with Toledo and had a visit scheduled, but things fell through and he now is available again. His coaches feel he is a leader both on and off the field and while he won't wow you with his athleticism, he is a blue-collar type who works hard and has a great motor. He's versatile enough to play inside or outside, depending on the system.

2011 Stats: 91 tackles, 4 tackles-for-loss, 4.5 sacks

CB Dyllon Knox - For his size, Knox is a physical corner who fills well against the run. Nicholls State liked him early on, but things fell through. The Grizzly coaches feel Knox has the ability to play at the FBS level.

2011 Stats: 45 tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss, 1 interception
