Several West L.A. prospects still available

West L.A. finished the 2011 football season with a 7-3 record and have had several prospects sign with four-year schools. However, there are still several more available from that team. Here is a look at who is available and what they can do on the football field...

S Ike McCullough - McCullough has a nose for the ball and he's a hard-hitter and known as a sure-tackler. His coaches say he has a great Football I.Q. McCullough was a heavily recruited prospect out of high school, but still has yet to find a home after a solid career at West L.A.

WR Denzel Idris - A physical and tough wideout, Idris has great hands and runs good routes. His forty time is 4.55, but he plays much faster and has a knack for getting open. He was a top prospect coming out of Leuzinger High School in Lawndale (Ca.).

2011 Stats: 53 receptions for 565 yards and 4 touchdowns; 13 kickoff returns for 234 yards (18.0 avg.)

Denzel Idris 2011 Highlights
WR Geno Hall - West L.A. coached describe Hall as a "waterbug" due to his quickness. Has outstanding speed, clocking a 4.4 in the forty, and he runs great routes. Also has very good hands and he's a great return man as well. Was heavily recruited out of Crenshaw High School.

2011 Stats: 35 receptions for 291 yards and 4 touchdowns; 19 kickoff returns for 540 yards (28.4 avg.); 13 punt returns for 156 yards (12.0 avg.) and 1 touchdown

Geno Hall 2011 Highlights
LB Gilbert Dominguez - A tall, rangy linebacker who has great speed. He is smart and athletic (he played wide receiver in high school).

LB Havohn Randolph - Another tall, rangy linebacker, Randolph has great speed and quickness. The coaches love his coverage skills and his "sideline-to-sideline" ability. He is a solid pass-rusher and very athletic.

RB Trevon Davis - A multi-talented athlete who could play running back or wide receiver in the right system. Davis has great speed and quickness.

2011 Stats: 40 carries for 150 yards; 30 receptions for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns

LB Deon Thomas - His coached describe Thomas as a complete player with great speed and short-area quickness. He has great instincts and is both a great run-stopper as well as solid in coverage. Thomas' clock means that he will need to go the D-2 route, but he has the skills to be a D-1 player.

WR Elijah Jones - Jones is an outstanding route-runner with great hands and leaping ability. He can "go up and get it" per his coaches at West L.A. He is very quick and he's go a knack for getting open.

DL Sam Williams - Gets off the ball well and plays with great pad level (leverage). The coaches love how he plays against the run or pass and that he can sniff out screens due to his great Football I.Q.

CB Marquette Harper - A lock-down corner, Harper is physical and a great open-field tackler. He has a great Football I.Q.
