Two CCSF sophs sign with FBS programs

This is the time of year when JUCO players who went overlooked in the 2012 recruiting cycle end up finding homes and that is true for two solid players from City College of San Francisco as both LB Ruben Ibarra (6-2, 245) and WR Roman Runner (6-1, 190) have both signed with FBS programs...

Ibarra led the Rams with 68 tackles last season from his middle linebacker spot and also totaled eight tackles-for-loss and four sacks. He recently committed to and signed with Purdue who came in late and apparently liked what he could add to the middle of their defense.

Runner is a dynamic inside receiver with enough size and speed to play outside. He racked up 41 receptions for 602 yards and eight scores as a sophomore this past season.

He recently visited and has signed with Idaho who want to add his playmaking abilities to their emerging offensive attack.

Both will enroll this summer at their new schools and they will both have three years to play two starting this fall.
