A look at some of the top running back performances over the past week and which players are standing out for their team. This is by no means all-inclusive, but just a snapshot of some of the players who had big-time performances over the weekend...

Hutchinson RB Terrell Lane - After three games, Lane has put himself in the mix as one of the top JUCO tailbacks in the country, posting 546 yards on 80 carries with four touchdowns. He's also a decent target out of the backfield catching the ball, hauling in 10 receptions for 74 yards and two more scores. In last week's 63-49 win over Garden City, Lane led the way with 308 yards three touchdowns and hauled in six receptions for 42 yards and two more scores.

Independence RB Cristobal Dinham - Dinham had a big game last week in Indy's 27-20 win over Arkansas Baptist, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns. So far this season, the talented tailback has 341 yards and four touchdowns in three games.

Hinds RB Jabari Baker - In two games so far this season, Baker has put up big numbers – 224 yards and three touchdowns – including 103 yards on 17 carries and two scores in the Eagles' 41-13 win over Coahoma.

Trinity Valley RB Rufus Mason - Mason had a huge game in TVC's 44-20 loss to fifth-ranked Iowa Western, rushing for 141 yards.

Iowa Western RB Aaron Wimberly - So far, Wimberly is living up to the hype this season after a solid freshman campaign in 2011. In three games, the talented tailback has posted 312 yards and four touchdowns including 102 yards and a touchdown in the Rievers' 44-20 win over then sixth-ranked Trinity Valley.

Hartnell RB De'Andre Mann - The Panthers are off to an 0-2 start, but Mann has done his best to keep them in games, rushing for 209 yards and five touchdowns in the losses.

Butte RB Cameron Mikell - Last week, in Butte's 20-7 win over College of the Siskiyous, Mikell racked up 151 yards on 25 carries while hauling in two receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. On the season, Mikell has posted 200 yards rushing and appears to be taking over the workload in the Roadrunners' backfield.

Allan Hancock RB Cameron Artis-Payne - Artis-Payne had a huge game for the Bulldogs last week, rushing for 232 yards and three scores in Allan Hancock's 33-20 win over El Camino. On the season, the talented runner has posted 385 yards and six touchdowns.

American River RB Devontae Booker - In the Beavers' 38-23 win over Sacramento, Booker was a workhorse, carrying the ball 30 times for 175 yards and two scores. After two games the sophomore playmaker currently leads the state in rushing with 466 yards and seven touchdowns.

Cabrillo RB Dylan Jackson - In the Seahawks' opening game loss to Los Medanos, Jackson carried the ball 34 times for 191 yards and one touchdown.

L.A. Harbor RB Joron Adams - On only eight carries, Adams ran for 92 yards and three touchdowns in the Seahawks' 42-7 win over Golden West, earning National Central Division's Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Victor Valley RB Shamel David - David had a huge game against West L.A. last week, carrying the ball 15 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns, but his effort wasn't enough, as the Rams fell to 0-2, losing the game 29-23.
