CCSF, MSAC, Ventura Still Perfect

San Mateo -- Notes on the 2012 official California Community College Football Coaches Association state poll, as compiled by the JC Athletic Bureau.

San Mateo - City College of San Francisco, Mt. San Antonio, and Ventura are the remaining state-title contending unbeaten, teams with three weeks left in the California Community College Athletic Association football season. They rank in that order in this week’s California Community College Football Coaches Association state poll, conducted by the JC Athletic Bureau.

Defending state champion CCSF scored another comeback win, this time scoring a TD with 1:09 remaining, to edge No. 8 San Mateo, 31-28. Now No. 11 De Anza gave Butte its first loss, 35-25, to leave CCSF all alone atop the NorCal Conference. No. 6 Butte visits No. 8 San Mateo this Saturday. No. 2 Mt. SAC comes off a bye to host Long Beach and Ventura visits No. 14 Hancock Saturday. No. 5 San Joaquin Delta is the only unbeaten in Valley Conference play and hosts No. 12 Fresno Saturday.

Long Beach at Mt. SAC, Citrus at El Camino, Desert at LA Harbor

National Northern:
Ventura at Hancock, Cerritos at Bakersfield.
