Riverside's Long makes his choice

It was only a matter of time before someone at the FBS level decided to give Riverside TE Joshua Long (6-4, 255) a look and that happened this past week when Hawaii decided to offer the talented tight end prospect. After thinking about things, Long decided he wanted to join the Warriors and committed to them last night...

Riverside assistant coach Darrin Chiaverini informed JCFootball.com that Long has committed to Hawaii.

This season, Long has posted 12 receptions for 106 yards and two scores, while helping his team to a 7-1 record.

He will graduate in December and will have three years to play two once he arrives in Honolulu.
