(UPDATED 11/9/12) A look at some of the top running back performances over the past week and which players are standing out for their team so far this season. This is by no means all-inclusive, but just a snapshot of some of the players who had big-time performances over the weekend...

City College of San Francisco RB Kris Olugbode- Olugbode broke O.J. Simpson's single-game rushing record on November 3rd by rushing for 310 yards and scored three touchdowns on 32 carries in a 35-7 win over Santa Rosa. The sophomore tailback has rushed for 1,445 yards and 17 touchdowns while helping lead the Rams to a 9-0 record and the top-ranking in the JC Gridwire Top 25.

College of San Mateo RB George Naufahu - The freshman only touched the ball nine times, but still managed to rush for 104 yards and a touchdown in the Bulldogs' 46-43 loss to DeAnza last week. In his first year at CSM, Naufahu has rushed for over 300 yards and two scores.

Sierra RB Demarcus Jones - Jones rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns as the Wolverines down San Joaquin Delta 45-38. In limited touches this season, the freshman has rushed for 385 and two scores.

Sacramento RB Logan Lanier - Sacramento got crushed 38-15 by Diablo Valley but Lanier still managed to rush for 141 yards on 32 carries. The sophomore has had a solid season for the Panthers, rushing for 1,247 yards and six touchdowns.

Contra Costa RB Rashad Hall - Hall managed to rush for 123 yards and two scores as Contra Costa squeaked by Redwoods, 20-19. The sophomore tailback has rushed for 1,88 yarsd and 14 touchdowns while helping lead the Comets to a 6-3 record.

Yuba RB Juan Johnson - Johnson has really come on toward the end of the season for Yuba and last week he had his best game of the season rushing for 322 yards and four touchdowns, but the 49ers still lost 42-37 to Los Medanos. For the season, the sophomore has rushed for 1,515 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Cabrillo RB Steven Ross - The freshman rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries in the Seahawks' 51-7 win over West Valley last week. This season, Ross has rushed for nearly 400 yards and five touchdowns.

West Valley RB Dre Hill - The freshman tailback has been one of the few bright spots for West Hills this season as they have struggled to a 1-8 record. Hill rushed for 100 yards last week on nine carries, but the Vikings still fell to Cabrillo 51-7. This year Hill has rushed for 618 yards and two scores.

Hartnell RB Deandre Mann - Mann posted 108 yards and two scores in Hartnell's 28-3 win over Gavilan. This season, the talented freshman has posted 1,071 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Monterey Peninsula RB Don Carter - The freshman rushed for 136 yards and two scores as the Lobos downed San Jose 27-24. In seven games, Carter has totaled 307 yards and five touchdowns on 35 carries this season.

Bakersfield RB Jalen Sykes - Sykes carried the ball 32 times for 242 yards and two touchdowns as the Gades beat Allan Hancock by a score of 56-27. For the season, the sophomore has rushed for 835 yards and five touchdowns.

Allan Hancock RB Cameron Artis-Payne - Artis-Payne recently made his decision and will play for Auburn next year, but he's still got a couple more games with the Bulldodgs. Last weekend, in his team's 56-27 loss to Bakersfield, the sophomore tailback posted 146 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. This season he's rushed for 1,838 yards and 23 touchdowns while helping lead them to a 5-4 record.

Cerritos RB Michael Jasper - The freshman handled most of the workload for the Falcons last week, hauling the rock 21 times for 108 yards and scored three touchdowns in Cerritos' 38-36 loss to College of the Canyons last week. While splitting carries in the backfield, Jasper has totaled 308 and five touchdowns this season.

Pasadena RB Zach Sinclair - Sinclair had an outstanding game against a very good Ventura defense, posting 171 yards on 26 carries. However, the Lancers still lost, falling to the Pirates 27-14.

Mt. San Antonio RB Jamal Overton - Overton carried the ball 17 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the Mounties' 38-10 win over El Camino. The freshman tailback has rushed for 668 yard and nine touchdowns so far this season.

Citrus RB Phillip Sainz - The sophomore tailback busted out with a huge game last week, carrying the ball 16 times for a total of 112 yards and a touchdown in Citrus' 43-24 win over Long Beach.

Fullerton RB Jamison Sterns - Sterns is a big back, measuring in at 6' and 230 pounds, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in Fullerton's 59-6 win over Orange Coast.

Southwestern RB Charles Westbrook - The freshman only got nine carries, but he tallied 167 yards and four touchdowns on the ground earning him American National Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. Westbrook has totaled 459 yards and eight touchdowns this season for the Jags.

Compton RB Frederick Johnson - Johnson totaled 111 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, but Compton still lost 48-27 to East Los Angeles. The freshman has been one of the few bright spots for Compton (0-9) this season managing to rush for 519 yards and three scores.

Santa Monica RB Myles Johnson - Johnson had 23 carries for 114 yards as Santa Monica outlasted L.A. Pierce 50-47. The sophomore has totaled 934 yards and nine touchdowns for the 8-1 Corsairs this season.

Independance RB Cristobal Dinham - In Indy's last game of the season, a 31-24 win over Highland, the sophomore rushed for 276 yards and one touchdown on 30 carries. This season, Dinham totaled 1,012 yards and 10 scores in eight games.

Northwest Mississippi RB Damian Baker - The freshman was a real workhorse for Northwest Mississippi last weekend toting the rock 22 times for 205 yards on the ground, but the Rangers still lost 43-17 to Mississippi Gulf Coast. Baker has totaled nearly 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground in nine games this season.

Butler RB Derrick Thomas - The sophomore carried the ball just seven times, but got the most out of each touch, going for 115 yards and two touchdowns in the Grizzlies' 58-17 win over Garden City last week. Thomas ranks second on the team with 619 yards and eight touchdowns on the season.

Copiah-Lincoln RB Darius Guy - The redshirt freshman was a big reason why Co-Lin was able to pull out a thrilling 47-46 win over East Mississippi last year, racking up 157 yards and two scores on the day. In 10 games this season, Guy has rushed for nearly 900 yards and nine touchdowns.

Hutchinson RB Orange Mooney - While he's played a backup role for most of the season, deferring to top JUCO tailback Terrell Lane, Mooney, a freshman, did step up this past week rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries as the Blue Dragons beat Coffeyville 52-28.

Coffeyville RB Andre Allen - Allen had a solid game rushing for 148 yards on 28 carries, but the Red Ravens still dropped their game with Hutchinson by a score of 52-28. This fall the freshman has rushed for 772 yards and four touchdowns.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M RB Casey Curtis - The freshman carried the ball 22 times for 126 yards in the Golden Norseman's 37-35 win over Tyler last week.
