Isaac continues to hear from schools

As one of the top JUCO tackles in Northern California, Foothill's Braxton Isaac (6-5, 300) has had his share of suitors looking at him even though he remains committed to San Diego State. Next month, the talented lineman informed JCFootball.com that he plans to take at least one trip and a third school could be in line for an official visit as well...

"I'm definitely still committed to San Diego State, but I'm going to take at least one more visit and there is a slight chance I could visit another school too," Isaac told JCFootball.com recently. "I'm taking a trip to Hawaii in January (18th) and then Maryland has been talking to me a lot, so they are the other school that I may visit."

Isaac held down the left tackle spot for Foothill this season, allowing just one sack on the year against some of the best competition in the country at the JUCO level.

"I feel like I improved my blocking overall and my pass-protection a lot," Isaac noted. "My pass sets were much better and I had better balance and strength and that allowed me to play to my full potential."

Isaac will remain at Foothill until this spring before enrolling at whichever school he plans to sign with on February 6th.

"I'm just looking for the right fit," Isaac said. "I really like San Diego State and what they are doing there, but when you have other schools looking at you, it's flattering and you get the know the coaches and I really would like to see them and make sure I've made the best choice for me."

Isaac will have three years to play two wherever he ends up.
