Six more offers for top JUCO corner

L.A. Pierce CB Howard Wilder (6-0, 185) continues to be a hot commodity with four-year schools, recently hauling in six new offers, and he recently told that he plans to set up visits with two of those schools in the next few weeks...

"I just got a bunch of new offers," Wilder told "Wisconsin, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana Tech, San Diego State and Middle Tennessee all offered me recently.

"Mississippi State is also recruiting me hard and they seem like they could be close and I have a bunch of other SEC schools after me too."

In addition to the new offers, Wilder already had full rides from the likes of South Florida, Rutgers, Arizona State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico State, Pittsburgh and Utah State among others.

"Kentucky is trying to get me to visit on the 25th (of January) and Wisconsin wants me before that, so I'm working on setting up some more visits," Wilder, who visited South Florida back on December 1st, said. "I'm hoping to have a visit every weekend before Signing Day (February 6th)."

Wilder finished the 2012 season with 45 tackles, one interception and six passes defensed.

He will have three years to play two wherever he ends up after he graduates in May.
