Two big offers roll in for Blair

One JUCO prospect fast becoming a hot commodity on the recruiting scene is Garden City OL Dontavius Blair (6-7, 300) and today he hauled in offers from two top 10 programs...

"I just got offers from Florida State and Oklahoma," Blair told JCFootball.com.

In addition to those two offers, Blair has also hauled in offers from Arizona State, Georgia, Kansas State, Mississippi State and Tennessee and he's being courted by schools from across the country including South Florida, USC and Alabama among others.

Last season, as a freshman for the Broncbusters, Blair played the all-important left tackle spot and held that down, using his long arms and outstanding feet to mirror pass-rushers. While he's solid in pass-protection, Blair knows he has plenty of work to do as a run-blocker.

"I want to get bigger and stronger this offseason and that will definitely help me as a run-blocker," Blair said. "I'm pretty good at it already, but I can be even better at it and I think getting bigger and stronger will help me do that."

On the academic side, Blair has been hard at work getting his courework completed so he's on pace to graduate in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2013 football season.
