Top Performers - Running Backs

Here is a look at some of the top JUCO running back performances from last weekend as well as a quick glance at who is standing out so far this season...

Lackawanna RB DeChavon Hayes - Hayes had a big game carrying the ball, toting the rock 22 times for 267 yards and two touchdowns, but the Falcons still fell to Navy Prep 31-28.


Georgia Military RB Jovon Robinson - Robinson, an Auburn bounceback, put up huge numbers -- 19 carries, 313 yards and two touchdowns -- as the Bulldogs upped their record to 2-0 with a 35-17 win over Snow.


Tyler RB Leroy Dobbins - In the Apaches' 49-26 win over Fort Scott, Dobbins ran the ball 15 times for 193 yards and a touchdown.


Navarro RB Cameron Washington - Navarro manhandled Hutchinson 41-16 on Saturday and Washington's production was a big reason why as the talented tailback carried the ball 16 times for 170 yards with touchdown runs of 90 yards and one yard.


Copiah-Lincoln RB Van Lee - Lee was a big part of why Co-Lin was able to get a 29-20 win over Northeast Mississippi last weekend as he rushed for 166 yards and two scores on 22 carries.


Northwest Mississippi RB Damian Baker - Even though his team lost 19-15 to Southwest Mississippi, Baker still managed to rush for 143 yards on 27 carries.


Scottsdale RB Chauncey Wright - Wright had a big game for the Artichokes, carrying the ball just nine times for 140 and a score in their 45-23 win over Arizona Western.


Hinds RB Greg Foster - Foster had a solid afternoon for the Eagles as they handled Mississippi Delta 49-7. The sophomore tailback rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.


Mississippi Gulf Coast RB Rod Williams - Williams had an eventful afternoon, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries in Gulf Coast's 63-14 win over Coahoma.


Trinity Valley RB Tavarreon Dickerson - Dickerson only carried the ball four times in TVC's 72-7 win over Coffeyville, but he made the most of his opportunities by going for 116 yards on the day.
