"I've got my first visit set up. I will going to Washington when they play Oregon on October 12th," Pelon said. "I talked to coach (Tosh) Lupoi the other day and we had a good talk. I really like him and what he has to say about things."
While the Huskies are the first school to schedule a visit, make no mistake, he plans to take all five of his trips before he makes a decision.
"I won't be deciding early or before I take all of my trips," Pelon noted. "Nebraska and Miami are the other ones I'm planning to visit and then I haven't really thought about the other two."
As far as offers are concerned, Pelon said some new ones have been extended by schools looking to get into the mix with him.
"UCLA, Utah, Western Michigan and a couple of other ones have come in," Pelon said.
As a freshman in 2012, Pelon totaled over 25 tackles and five sacks at Eastern Arizona. He transferred to Mesa this past spring and so far this season he's totaled 12 tackles and a tackle-for-loss while helping lead them to a 3-1 record.
Pelon is on pace to graduate in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2013 football season.
