Top Performers - Quarterbacks

A couple of JUCO signal-callers had huge games over the weekend, including East Mississippi's Dontreal Pruitt who had a monster game in a win over Mississippi Delta. Here's a look at his day, plus a few more standout performances...

East Mississippi QB Dontreal Pruitt - Pruitt had a career night, completed 28 of his 39 attempts for 502 yards and three scores as the Lions blasted Mississippi Delta by a score of 70-0. In four games this year, the sophomore has completed 67.7% of his passes for 1,367 yards, 16 touchdowns and two interceptions and he's also rushed for 175 yards and two more scores while leading EMC to a 4-0 record.

Mesa QB Blake Kemp - Another week of big-time quarterback performances, another week that Kemp is on our list. Last week, in a 33-24 win over Snow, Kemp hit on 20 of his 37 attempts for 405 yards and three scores. While leading Mesa to a 4-1 record, the sophomore has completed 60.3% of his passes for 1,458 yards, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. He's also rushed for 99 more yards and three scores on the ground.

Jones QB Steven Swindle - Swindle had another big game for the Bobcats as he went 22 of 36 for 400 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions, helping Jones beat Mississippi Gulf Coast in a thriller, 52-42.

Northwest Mississippi QB Karsten Miller - Miller completed 26 of his 39 pass attempts for 348 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, but NW Miss still lost their game with Northeast Mississippi, 34-21.

Copiah-Lincoln QB Daniel Fitzwater - In Co-Lin's 19-10 win over Hinds, the freshman completed 21 of his 31 attempts for 301 yards and two scores.

College of the Redwoods QB Will Hissong - The freshman signal-caller had his second-straight big game for CR, as he completed 23 of his 42 attempts for 384 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in a 43-20 win over West Valley.

Santa Rosa QB Mike Pierson - The Bear Cubs got to 3-0 as Pierson completed 24 of his 40 attempts for 355 yards with three touchdowns and two picks in Santa Rosa's 35-21 win over Sacramento.

Ventura QB Brad Odeman - Odeman had a huge game for the Pirates, completing 33 of his 47 attempts for 432 yards and five touchdowns. He also added 32 yards and another score on the ground. While leading VC to a 2-1 record, the sophomore has completed 65.2% of his passes for 1,018 yards and 15 touchdowns and no interceptions and he's rushed for 112 yards and another score.

Saddleback QB Tim Belman - The sophomore did his best to keep the Gauchos close as he went 37 of 58 for 432 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, but Saddleback still dropped their game with Riverside by a score of 38-31. So far this season, in three games, Belman has thrown for 1,170 yards while completing 62.1% of his passes with eight touchdowns and four interceptions.

Victor Valley QB Tyler Dobbins - Dobbins helped lead the Rams to a 48-28 win over L.A. Southwest by going 24 of 38 for 335 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.

Southwestern QB Frank Foster - In the Jaguars' 31-28 win over Palomar, Foster went 33 of 41 for 317 yards with three scores and one interception and rushed for 35 more yards and another touchdown.

El Camino QB Cole Webb - Webb had a huge afternoon for the Warriors, hitting on 21 of his 30 attempts for 309 yards and three touchdowns as El Camino downed Pasadena by a score of 43-7.
