Top Performers - Wide Receivers

Some JUCO wideouts continue to put up some pretty gaudy numbers as we head into the middle of the 2013 football season. One, Copiah-Lincoln's Casey Gladney, had a huge day for the Wolves as he hauled in four touchdowns in their 50-47 loss to Jones last weekend...

Copiah-Lincoln WR Casey Gladney - Gladney, who has already committed to Cincinnati, accounted for all of the Wolves' touchdown receptions (four) while hauling in 10 receptions for 169 yards. The sophomore has posted a team-leading 26 receptions for 386 yards and five touchdowns.

Itawamba WR Jarvis Bentley - Bently posted 12 receptions for 104 in the Indians' 27-21 win over Northwest Mississippi.

Itawamba WR JaNardreon Jones - The freshman chipped in with five receptions for 152 yards and a touchdown in Itawamba's 27-21 win over Northwest Mississippi.

Mesa WR Cody Saul - In Mesa's 27-19 loss to Arizona Western, the sophomore wideout grabbed 8 passes for 154 yards and one score. Saul has put up huge numbers so far this season, totaling 38 receptions for 757 yards and seven scores in six games.

Kilgore WR Morris Williams - The freshman posted eight receptions for 149 yards and one touchdown in the Rangers' 31-6 win over Cisco.

ASA Olu Izigwire - The freshman had 8 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Avengers' 40-16 win over Army JV.

Hutchinson WR Chris Murray - The redshirt freshman hauled in 13 receptions for 207 yards and one touchdown in Hutchinson's 36-20 win over Highland. Murray leads the Blue Dragons with 29 receptions and four touchdowns through the air while ranking second on the team with 292 yards receiving.

American River WR Tyler Trosin - Trosin hauled in five receptions for 102 yards and three touchdowns as the Beavers routed Santa Rosa 55-21 last weekend.

Chabot WR Stefon Martin - Martin helped lead Chabot to a 20-17 win over Diablo Valley last week by hauling in four receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown.

DeAnza WR Bryan Fobbs The Dons lost a heart-breaker to Sierra last week 35-28, but Fobbs still had a great game as he brought in eight receptions for 155 yards and three touchdowns. This season, in four games, the sophomore wideout leads DeAnza with 37 receptions for 610 yards and nine touchdowns.

Feather River WR LaVon Pearson In the Golden Eagles' 41-28 win over Merced, Pearson had 10 receptions for 237 yards and three scores. Pearson has 38 receptions so far this season for 659 yards and six touchdowns.

Foothill WR Karim Jones - Jones hauled in four receptions for 118 yards and two scores, but Foothill still fell to 2-2 on the season with a 37-36 loss to College of the Sequoias. In those four games, the sophomore has posted 26 receptions for 500 yards and six scores.

Santa Ana WR Austin Schaefer Schaefer posted eight receptions for 102 yards and a score, but the Dons still dropped to 1-3 with a 39-35 loss to Grossmont.

Allan Hancock WR Shane Henderson Henderson helped lead the Bulldogs to their first victory of the season, a 34-21 win over Moorpark, by posting seven receptions for 106 yards and one touchdown.

Riverside WR Sam Boyd Boyd, a San Jose State bounceback, hauled in five receptions for 125 yards and two scores as Riverside breezed to a 71-0 win over L.A. Harbor last weekend.

Riverside WR Kenny Torrance In the Tigers' 71-0 blowout win over L.A. Harbor, Torrance finished with five receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown.

Long Beach WR De'Quan Hampton Hampton hauled in five receptions for 142 yards and two scores, but Long Beach still dropped to 1-3 on the season, losing the El Camino 35-33.

Victor Valley WR Kyle Keplinger In Victor Valley's 39-28 loss to Chaffey last weekend, the sophomore caught eight passes for 111 yards.

Glendale WR Isaiah Bernard The freshman had eight receptions for 97 yards and two scores, but Glendale still lost by a score of 37-30 to Antelope Valley.

San Bernardino WR Eric Shufford Shufford had 10 receptions for 102 yards and a score in the Wolverines' 41-20 loss to Southwestern.

Bakerfield WR Brock Martin Martin grabbed seven receptions for 137 yards, but Bakersfield still dropped their game with Ventura by a score of 24-16.

West L.A. WR LeRon Barnes - Barnes grabbed 16 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns, but the Wildcats still dropped their game with Santa Monica by a score of 32-23.
