"Right now, my offers are from Troy, Illinois State and Weber State," Hollister told JCFootball.com over the weekend. "Other than those three, the other two talking to my coaches are Illinois and East Carolina and I've talked to a ton of schools, but those are the main ones standing out."
Hollister enjoyed a solid career at Mountain View High School in Bend, Oregon, becoming a huge contributor to the 2011-12 state champions.
"Even with us winning state, that didn't really help me get noticed anymore and some of my offers sorta fell through," Hollister recalled. "I decided to walk-on at Nevada, but after my position coach got let go, I just decided to leave and come here to Arizona Western and see about starting fresh and earning a scholarship to a four-year program."
So far this season, Hollister leads the Matadors with 50 receptions for 653 yards and is tied for the team lead with four touchdowns.
"I have deceptive speed and I can run any route," Hollister said. "I am good at running the fade and I always go up and get it. I love going deep on DBs that I'm facing. I'm a good route-runner and that helps me get separation."
Hollister was a full-qualifier out of high school and he can sign with a school at any time. He hopes to find the right situation for himself and to sign in December.
As a redshirt freshman this year, Hollister will have three years to play two following the 2013 football season.
