Top Performers - Running Backs

Several top JUCO tailbacks had big games this past weekend and they do their best to help their teams get to the playoffs. Here's a look at who did what and where they stand so far this season including Riverside's Denzel Foster who had a huge game in the Tigers' 51-50 win over Citrus on Saturday...

Riverside RB Denzel Foster - The freshman had 167 yards and three touchdowns in Riverside's 51-50 win over Citrus last weekend. Foster leads the Tigers with 752 yards and seven touchdowns on 95 carries this season.

Citrus RB Emmanuel Pooler - Even though he had only 15 carries, the freshman still managed to post 120 yards rushing in Citrus' thrilling 51-50 win over Riverside. Pooler has rushed for a team-leading 467 yards and also has posted four touchdowns on the ground.

Mt. San Jacinto RB Michael Harrison - Harrison racked up 141 yards and two scores in Mt. San Jacinto's 47-28 loss to Chaffey last weekend.

Chaffey RB Jamie Snowten - In Chaffey's 47-28 win over Mt. San Jacinto, Snowten totaled 115 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries.

Chaffey RB Quincy Ross - Ross didn't want to be outdone by his teammate and chipped in with 111 yards and a score on 20 touches in Chaffey's 47-28 win over Mt. San Jacinto.

Los Medanos RB Shawn Vasquez - In Los Medanos' 40-37 win over Mendocino, Vasquez carried the ball 18 times for 121 yards and two scores with one of his touchdowns, a 58-yarder, coming with just 4:01 left in the game and giving the Mustangs their final margin of victory.

Mendocino RB Jakorian Graves - Graves had another big game for Mendocino, totaling 131 yards on 21 tackles, but his team still lost in heart-breaking fashion, 40-37 to Los Medanos.

West Hills RB Wilfred Butler - Butler carried the ball 22 times for 164 yards and two scores, but West Hills still lost to College of the Siskiyous by the score of 31-24. The sophomore has rushed for a team leading 729 yards and 10 touchdowns this year.

Butte RB Kendall Williams - Williams had 211 yards and a touchdown in Butte's 52-21 win over DeAnza last weekend. On a team that doesn't throw the ball much, the freshman has rushed for a team-leading 946 yard and seven scores while helping lead the Roadrunners to a 7-0 record and the top ranking in the Golden State.

Yuba RB John Albercrombie - Albercrombie had a huge day for Yuba last weekend, toting the rock 42 times for 351 yards and four scores as the 49ers got a 47-42 win over College of the Redwoods. In seven games, the sophomore who hails from Texas has totaled 864 yards and seven touchdowns.

Feather River RB Farrell Victor - Victor carried the ball 21 times for 203 yards and a touchdown in Feather River's 41-7 win over Sacramento. While helping to lead the Golden Eagles to a 5-2 record, the sophomore has totaled 979 yards and 13 scores on the ground so far this season.

Bakersfield RB Kwame Johnson - In the Renegades' 37-14 win over Moorpark, Johnson carried the ball 13 times for 114 yards.

San Bernardino RB Jordan Mixon - Mixon totaled 140 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries in San Bernardino Valley's 29-6 win over East Los Angeles.

Contra Costa RB Davonte Sapp-Lynch - Sapp-Lynch had 126 yards and a touchdown in the Comets' 25-14 win over Shasta. In seven games, the sophomore has rushed for 679 yards and 11 touchdowns.

American River RB Drake Tofi - Tofi rushed for 125 yards on 23 carries and helped pace ARC to a 31-7 win over Fresno last weekend.

Laney RB Valentino Miles - In Laney's 28-22 loss to Chabot, Miles had 163 yards on 30 carries, but was unable to reach the endzone.

Monterey Peninsula RB Sean Johnson-Bey - The freshman carried the ball 23 times for 147 yards as Monterey Peninsula got a 34-12 win over West Valley.

West Valley RB Dre Hill - Hill had 136 yards and a touchdown, but West Valley still dropped to 1-6 on the season, losing to Monterey Peninsula by a score of 34-12.

Ventura RB Aaron Stanton - Stanton carried the ball just 13 times, but still managed to post 154 yards and two scores on the ground in Ventura's 56-27 loss to Cerritos last weekend. The freshman has totaled 502 yards and eight touchdowns in eight games so far this season.

Hartnell RB De'Andre Mann - Mann rushed for 200 yards and a touchdown and hauled in three receptions for 62 more yards in Hartnell's 33-21 win over Cabrillo last weekend. In seven games this season, Mann has totaled 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground and has hauled in 13 receptions for 175 yards and three touchdowns.

Rochester CTC RB Alex Schliesmann - Schliesmann had 20 carries for 207 yards and a touchdown in the Yellow Jackets' 27-15 win over Ridgewater last weekend. In nine games, the sophomore has 1,117 yards and six touchdowns while helping to lead his team to an 8-1 record.

Tyler RB Terrence Taylor - In Tyler's 42-12 win over Kilgore, the freshman totaled 37 carries for 182 yards and two touchdowns. While splitting carries with sophomore Leroy Dobbins, Taylor has still managed to post a team-leading 893 yards rushing with nine touchdowns while helping to lead the Apaches to an 8-1 record.

Monroe RB Robert Jackson - Jackson had 30 carries for 176 yards and a touchdown in the Mustangs' 26-6 win over Thaddeus Stevens College.

Georgia Military RB Jovon Robinson - Robinson had 151 yards and four scores in just the first half of the Bulldogs' 67-16 win over Georgia Prep Sports Academy. While helping lead GMC to a 9-0 record, Robinson has racked up 1,678 yards and 23 scores.

Coffeyville RB Andre Allen - In Coffeyville's thrilling 37-34 double-overtime win over Garden City, Allen totaled 131 yards and three scores on 29 carries. In nine games, Allen has posted 891 yards and 11 scores.

Nassau RB Yahkee Johnson - The freshman had just 10 touches, but he made the most of them, rushing for 129 yards and three scores in the Lions' 48-6 win over Louisburg.

Navarro RB Tim Wright - In Navarro's 62-16 win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, the sophomore had 23 carries for 120 yards and three touchdowns. In nine games, Wright has 1,205 yards and 19 touchdowns.

East Mississippi RB Lakenderic Thomas - Thomas rushed for 117 yards and two scores in the Lions' 59-13 win over Itawamba. In nine games, the sophomore has rushed for 802 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Blinn RB Klartel Claridy - Claridy was instrumental in Blinn's 44-34 win over Cisco as he carried the ball 18 times for 101 yards and three touchdowns.

Dean RB Adriell Mayes - In Dean's 41-12 win over Globe Institute of Technology, Mayes rushed for 195 yards and two scores. In seven games, the sophomore has rushed for 696 yards and seven touchdowns.

ASA RB Branden Stout - In just seven carries, Stout had 148 yards and a touchdown in ASA's 49-14 win over St. Francis University JV.

ASA RB Donavan Williams - In ASA's 49-14 win over St. Francis University JV, Williams had four carries for 122 yards and a touchdown. In seven games, the sophomore has rushed for 698 yards and eight scores.

Fort Scott RB Jonathan Alford - Alford rushed for 184 yards and three scores on 31 carries in Fort Scott's 53-36 win over Arkansas Baptist. In eight games, the freshman has rushed for 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Fort Scott RB Kyle Hammonds - In the Greyhounds' 53-36 win over Arkansas Baptist, Hammonds rushed for 129 yards on 16 carries.

Garden City RB Tyreek Hill - In Garden City's 37-34 double-overtime loss to Coffeyville, Hill had 52 yards rushing on 12 carries and finished with five receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Garden City RB Marlon Mitchell - Mitchell had 144 yards and three touchdowns in Highland's 56-30 win over Independence last weekend.
