New offers roll in for Iowa Western Prospects

Iowa Western assistant coach Mike Strohmeier informed that five prospects on the Reivers' roster received offers over the weekend. Here's a look at which players received new full rides and where things stand on the recruiting front with each one...

OT Sebastian Tretola - Tretola, a Nevada bounceback, has been one of the fastest risers among JUCO offensive tackle prospects this season. Over the weekend, he received an offer from Akron and the Zips joined Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Georgia State, Idaho, Old Dominion, South Alabama, South Florida and Texas Tech in offering the talented lineman. He has no visits set at this point and will most likely take all of his visits after the Reivers' season comes to an end.

DB David Jenkins - Jenkins, a bounceback from LSU, received his first offer, from Akron, and has had a solid season for the Reivers in the secondary as he's posted 29 tackles and two interceptions.

DT Max Martial - Martial already had an offer from Idaho and he added an offer from Akron this past weekend per Strohmeier. So far this season, the talented sophomore has racked up 36 tackles, one sack and 6.5 tackles-for-loss.

OG Kato Fawkes - Fawkes hauled in his first offer when Idaho extended an offer his way over the weekend.

OL Travis Zimmerman - Zimmerman, who can play any of the inside spots along the offensive line, added offers from Florida Atlantic and Western Illinois to his growing list of suitors which includes Florida International, Georgia State, Idaho State, Northern Iowa, UC Davis and Western Illinois in offering the versatile lineman.
